We’re pretty much always looking for more volunteers. There’s a lot of stuff that happens behind the scenes here, and right now it’s pretty much only me (Vee) taking care of it. This means that I don’t have time to improve big picture stuff or set up new things, and get very stressed out with everything that needs to be done.
One thing about being a volunteer: you need to be able to commit to at least a month or two of tasks, or an infrequent but ongoing thing. It takes work to train people in for the stuff they’re doing, and it’s too much work to put in if people just want to help out with one thing.
Let me know if you’re interested! Send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with a little bit about yourself, how much time you’ll be able to dedicate, if you’re familiar with coding, WordPress, Rafflecopter, or anything else you think might be relevant. (Don’t worry about it at all if you have no familiarity with these things.)
Look forward to hearing from you– GayYA is a labor-of-love, community-driven project. And as such, it needs the community to make it work!
