I can't say that the Johanna/Reeve pairing in Julie Anne Peters Rage is one of my favorite pairings, but Johanna herself is one of my favorite lesbian characters ever.
She's deep, she's emotional, and she's real. I didn't feel like she got caught up too much in the angst of her life, angsty as that life itself was. I thought her mind was a great internal view of abusive relationships -- all abusive relationships.
That being said, I do have to wonder -- why her? What did Reeve suddenly see in her that she latched on to?
