Welcome to Gay YA!  Please introduce yourself here-- don't start a new topic! ^_^ Name: Victoria Location: Minnesota *wraps up in blanket* Favorite LGBTQ book: The Color Purple by Alice Walker. Banned? Yes. Brilliant? Yes.Favorite LGBTQ pairing: Niall and Irial from the Wicked Lovely series! ...Although I have mixed thoughts on the Irial bit.  About me: I'm a homeschooled teen who spends far too much time reading, writing, and procrastinating on the computer. I play violin and am in the process of teaching myself how to play guitar ( I AM going to make this happen! ^_~). Random Fact: I love breaking ciphers and looking up peoples emails. It makes me feel like a spy. Yea, yea, shuddup. You can use these same fields, or make up you own!  |

HI I'm Sam  Location: Florida (I want to be in Upstate NY  ) Favorite LGBTQ book: Luna by Julie Anne Peters. I can reread that book over and over. I also love Keeping You a Secret also by Julie Anne Peters Favorite LGBTQ pairing: Niall and Irial for sure! I loves them to death on end!!! About me: I'm 21 years old, I love to read and to write. I really want to move out of florida because I have this wierd theory that I won't find true happiness until I leave. I have too many books and I drink massives amounts of coffee. I stay up way to late and I am just over all a loving person. Random Fact: I like Bunnys. I seem to call alot of people Bunnies and .. dogs too... like my dog I call him my "Little Snuggle Bunny" |

Hey I'm Samantha, I do live in Upstate NY (strange two home schooled teens and two Sams so far!)
I don't really have a fave LGBTQ book, but I guess Will Grayson Will Grayson is up there. When I was younger I loved Keeping you a Secret and Rubyfruit Jungle.
I'm 28 and am a writer. Anyone who wants to read my stuff can find it on my website. I am psyched about this website because there really needs to be more gay YA, especially in the fantasy section! I work at a winery for my real job=)

Hi! I'm Erin. Location: North Carolina Favorite LGBTQ book: I loved Boy Meets Boy by David Levithan. I'm currently devouring the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. Favorite LGBTQ pairing: I'm kind of new to the genre, but Alec and Magnus are intriguing (from Mortal Instruments). I also loved Paul and Noah in Boy Meets Boy. They were so sweet! About me: I'm a seventh grade language arts teacher. I'm 26. I have a husband and a dog. I want to be a writer when I grow up. |

Hi all! I'm Ben, 29 years old from Nelson, New Zealand. I live with my super-wife and our two busy young daughters, Miya and Luna. I write YA adventure stories (mostly about pirates and superheroes), and although romance and sex aren't a big part of what I write, a lot of my characters are gay or bi (some are even straight, imagine!). I'm working on an action-horror-survival-sadthing now with a gay main character, "The Undying Apathy Of Imogen Shroud". It has cosplaying zombies. I think this is probably its main selling point Anyway, I love the existence of this site! |
