I'm a little rusty on WL characters so the details are fuzzy to me, but here goes nothing...

I've always had the biggest crush on Niall, and the only way I've ever been able to explain is that he is easy to love. (plus i just have a weird thing for scars). Irial on the other hand, is a little harder to love. He's the kind of individual that one is scared to love, so falling for him IMO tends to take a little longer and isn't as natural as it is with Niall. For that reason alone I really love Niall and Irial together. I believe they compliment each other well. When it comes to Leslie I had always hoped that if one of them were to end up with her that it would be Niall, however I'm content with how the series ended.

Saying that they need each other though makes me cringe. But i think that's more just from my own personal values about any type of relationship. I think they are good for each other right now, and I think that they can help each other and grow from their experiences together. However, I don't think they need the other one. Need is such an all or nothing word, and I really don't like black and white. I'm more of a grey girl.

Name: I go by Star on book forums. But my real life name is Cassie.

Favorite LGBTQ book? It's extremely hard for me to pick favorites when it comes to books. So i'll just put the most recent one I've read which is Scars by Cheryl Rainfield.

Favorite LGBTQ pairing? Alec and Magnus from The Mortal Instruments series.

About me: I recently graduated with my associate's degree in Human Services from a community college. Looking at going back for my bachelor's degree though the money aspect is scaring to think about. I work with "at risk" youth, though I once heard a member in my community call them "at promise" youth, which i think is a much more appropriate way to look at their situations. Thankfully a couple of my kids are avid readers so when they mention a book, I've usually heard of it, and that gives me a way to build rapport with them.

Random Fact: I like to post in lime green because it makes it easier for me to find my posts and see those who have commented after I have.

I decided to give a hand and sent a post into social bookmarks. I hope the popularity will rise in.

I was wondering if anybody here has read Huntress by Malinda Lo? I have a couple extra bucks to pick up something new this week & I was wondering if it should be the one!

This thread can be used for anyone thinking about reading something, or trying to find enough people who have read something to create a thread for it. Smiley

Hey DeLazarus, great to meet you. Smiley

I don't think I've read "Holding the Man", I'll have to add it to my list! Smiley

I have a cat named Sammy. She is also a terrible writing partner.  Roll Eyes

Hi everyone! I think I had an account here before, but I'm going to start anew  Smiley

Name: Mitch

Location: Australia!

Favorite LGBTQ book: The one that started it all for me was 'Holding the Man' by Timothy Conigrave. I've read too many great ones since then to pick a favourite.

Favorite LGBTQ pairing: Dumbledore & Gindelwald 4 eva. (Honestly, I like most of the ones I come across. I was very partial to Alec & Magnus for a little while there).

About me: I'm twenty something from Australia, I enjoy reading, writing and gaming. And chatting with fellow enthusiasts about all of those things! Nothing beats a nerdy conversation about stories and characters.

Random Fact: I have a cat named Susan. She is a terrible writing partner.
